Update Lists
Summary
All mailing lists managed by this application are automatically updated once per day before 8am. If any information is changed, a manual update can be run using the Update Lists link. Updating lists will check all members against the campus LDAP. It may take up to 30 seconds to check all members, so please be patient when manually updating lists.

Selecting this option will update all mailing lists managed by this application, including non-student, gradstudents, and ugrad mailing lists.
Non-Student
The non-student mailing lists should be updated if any of the following is true:
- A non-student member's building has changed
- A non-student member's email has changed
- A non-student member's list membership has changed
If the non-student lists are not manually updated after these changes, any changes will be applied the next morning when the automatic update occurs.
Gradstudents
The Gradstudents mailing lists should be updated if any of the following is true:
- A grad student is added or removed from the Override List
- A non-student member is added or removed from the 'gradstudents' or a 'gradstudents-<department>' list
- A non-student member's email changes and they are on a grad student list
If the grad student lists are not manually updated, any changes will be applied the next morning when the automatic update occurs.
Ugrad
The ugrad mailing lists should be updated if any of the following is true:
- A non-student member is added or removed from a 'ugrad-<degree>' list
- A non-student member's email changes and they are on a ugrad list
If the ugrad lists are not manually updated, any changes will be applied the next morning when the automatic update occurs.
