Xerox Printing - From a Windows Laptop
Please make sure you have contacted Craig Stone to get a print/copy code. You will need to enter that the first time you print.
1. If you are on the "UCInet Mobile Access" wireless network, you must use the VPN software before attempting to connect the printer
1. Download and install the print driver software
Download and run or double-click the Xerox Global Print Driver Setup Utility.
Agree to the license
2. Click on 'Advanced Search...'
1. Click Start -> Devices and Printers
2. Click 'Add a printer' to begin the add printer wizard.
3. Click 'Add a network, wireless or Bluetooth printer'
4. Click 'The printer that I want isn't listed'
5. In the box 'Select a shared printer by name' type '\\printsrv.ss2k.uci.edu\'
6. Find the Xerox printer in the drop down list, left-click to select it, and click Next to install
- Installation can take several minutes. Please be patient.
