Scheduling Use of Instructional Labs
Lab Manager:

Social Sciences has three computer labs that can be used for classes:
- Room SST 155 has 48 student computers and one instructor computer.
- Room SST 630 has 24 student computers and one instructor computer.
- Room SBSG 1241 has 53 student computers and one instructor computer.
Scheduling a weekly class in a computer lab:
Instructors should contact the person in their department who usually schedules regular courses and specify that a computer lab is needed for the class. They should also indicate what software will be needed by the class.
The scheduler should contact the lab manager by email. Once a time and lab have been arranged the scheduler can then enter the class in the campus scheduling program.
It is important for the scheduler to contact the lab manager before reserving the room and time in the scheduling program since lab space is sometimes taken up by reservations which do not appear in the official schedule of classes.
Scheduling occasional use of a computer lab or office hours:
Instructors can contact the lab manager directly or work through their departmental schedulers to arrange lab time. If the Social Sciences' computer labs are not available an attempt will be made to find lab space in some of the other labs available on campus.
