Printing to a Xerox on a Mac

1) Install the Xerox driver depending on model → 5855 Xerox, 5955 Xerox

2) Open “System Preferences” located at the top left-hand corner

3)Select “Printers & Scanners” →

4) If the padlock in the lower left is locked, click it to unlock it

5) Select the “+” to “Add Printer or Scanner…”

6) If there is no “Advanced” option next to the “Windows” option in the title bar

7) Right-click the gray area and select “Customize Toolbar…”

8) Drag the “Advanced” icon into the live toolbar and click the “Done” button

9) Select “Advanced” from the Toolbar

10) After it finishes searching… change the type to “Windows printer via spoolss”

11)Leave “Device” set to “Another Device”

12)Depending on your location, enter the following Printer name listed below

13)Fill in the “Name” and “Location” fields

14) the “Use” drop-down choose “Select Software…”

15)Filter for the print driver for your model by typing 5855 or 5955 in the search box (see below for model number)

16)Select the driver

17)Click “OK”

18)Click “Add”
